Dr. Peter D Russo has enjoyed practicing orthodontics since 1989 and has been recognized by Connecticut Magazine as a top orthodontist in the state by his peers. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hamilton College in 1981 and received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1985. While at Penn, he received the American Association of Orthodontists award for his exceptional interest in the development of the oro-facial complex. He then completed his post-graduate specialty training in orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics from the Montefiore Medical Center in NewYork City in 1988. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Shoreline Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

In his free time, Dr. Russo is an avid fisherman. He enjoys swimming, boating and is an accomplished artist.
